Galentine’s Day and three secrets

According to the MyersBriggs test I’m an INJF personality type, which indicates someone deeply introverted and contented to spend long stretches of time alone. It’s also required. A lot of time with big groups of people can be overwhelming for the energy system of an INJF, compared to time alone, or one to one with another person.

So, when an INJF type is feeling ready for more socialising, for sitting in a cafe with her friends, then we know the pandemic is really going on. And on, and on…

The MyersBriggs Personality Test is one of many tools I’ve worked with over the years to help me understand myself, from the belief that the better I understand myself, the better equipped I will be to help myself navigate life. I’ve also worked with archetypes, temperaments, group therapy, transformational weekends, mind altering substances (prescribed or otherwise), prayer and meditation, physic readings, and life coaching; in short, as many modalities as I could find to help me gain insight into who is the person called Jo, really and how I can best support myself to live the best and most authentic life I possibly can. Coaching is the thing I kept returning to. It’s highly accessible and practical tools resonate for me as much today as when I first encountered them a few years ago. Working with a coach, and coaching myself on the regular has helped me navigate my life and it can do the same for you too.

My clients have experienced those transformations too. Furloughed from his job in retail, one this client created a vision for his future, and left Brighton for Berlin to pursue his dream. Another client found peace after being made redundant. Ending procrastinating on her studies was the goal of another client who went on the completed her course with Distinction and secured a new job. Making a decision about the future of her marriage, from a place of love for herself and her husband was the goal of another client. All these people developed the skill of self confidence (it is a skill, not something we’re born with) and evolved into the next version of themselves before their very eyes.

I am going to share some of those practical tools with you all. Tomorrow, Galentine’s Day (different from Valentines!) a day that we can fall in love with ourselves (which makes everything in life better, I promise) Saturday 13th Feb 2021 at 11:30am GMT I’ll be sharing my Three Secrets to Being Your Own Best Friend with you. This is new stuff, things that I’ve developed throughout my coaching practice that you won't learn anywhere else, tried and tested and trusted practices that I've honed over the past few years to take me from self-loathing to self-loving (not the pampering, shopping trip, bottle of w(h)ine kind either)

I'll be sending the zoom link an hour before the party so be sure to sign up to my newsletter, the Love Letter, on the homepage, to get your invitation!

I can't wait to see you there! 💗
